SignFab (UK) Ltd has developed a strategy for working through the recession and it is paying dividends.  When other companies are tightening their purses, SignFab has been busy investing in new equipment, expanding their capability and taking on new staff.  Darren Lee (right) has been appointed Works Manager with full responsibility for manufacturing, shop floor personnel and production targets.  He comes from the automotive industry where his knowledge of ‘just in time’ manufacturing techniques will boost SignFab’s production capability.  Also recently in post is Darren Masterson (left), Continual Improvement Programme Manager.  His role is to ensure that the rapid workflow that has been the hallmark of SignFab’s success to date, is continued, with the emphasis on quick turnaround products of consistently high quality.  Managing Director, Carl Hodgson commented “These two appointments are complimentary to our ongoing programme of improvement & growth.  We have also increased our manufacturing numbers by an additional ten staff.  This will enable us to increase our volume and order input and improve further our efficiencies.  We are looking forward to a busy and productive year ahead”
